Rico 4 year old 14 hand Grade gelding, a part mustang rescue by the humane association that came to us because he wasn't big enough for the couple that adopted him. He's a gorgeous black with a star and snip and 3 socks. He adapted well to our herd, and is now broke to saddle and learning trail ettiquette. He has a very level head and surprisingly willing attitude, was ridden all winter and has a lot of trail hours on him. He's quite a little trooper and would be great for youth and a 4-H project. He's got good ground manners and been on overnight camping trips, stands quietly tied at the trailer, crosses creeks, tolerates fly spray and clippers, and generally an excellent horse for beginners that have a little bit of know-how and just want to ride. He's easy to catch, and loves his pets and treats and with time, only getting better.
asking price $1500.00
Thanks to Jim Scheppke on the purchase of Rico for his daughter Maddie. Look for them to have fun on the trail in the Eau Claire area.
