What's New
What's New?
Well, here it is the spring of the year... Where does the time go.   Now we are anxiously awaiting new arrivals.  We've done pretty good with selling our babies from last year.  Posie was sold after weaning, and Rainy is still waiting for placement.  We've moved in the right direction with our naturally gaited mares and have made some pretty promising trades.  Can't wait to see what Andy will do with our new mares!!
Sally gave us another gorgeous tri colored stud colt on May 1st.   He's just like his brother, 4 tall white stockings and a splash of white on his rump with a black mane and tail.  What a looker.  He has small typey ears and is showing that smooth head nodding gait.  Salandi's Cruiser will make a super riding gelding and a great addition to somebody's pasture.  Check out the for sale page for photos.

We have traded Persian Poppy for a black Tennessee Walker mare.  Look for her to be added to our mare page.   We've also added a couple of other mares, and their photos and descriptions will be updated soon.  We've bred Stonewall's Lady Beth to Fly My Colors for 2003 and Showin' My Petticoat has also been bred to Fly My Colors for 2003.   We thought we'd see what we could get between Fancy and Fly My Colors.  Walker/Saddlebred crosses we've seen in the past have been awesome.  We also acquired a Spotted Saddle Horse mare and along with our new black mare, plan on breeding them to Andy for 2004.   We threw a wrench in my trail riding by breeding my Spotted Saddle Horse mare Cheyenne to black and white Tennessee Walker, Rock's Color Perfect in Neillsville.  We've had really good luck with this stallion in the past, and it's always fun to visit with the Kind clan over there. That makes seven babies due in the spring......   Don't know if I'm a glutton for punishment, or just plain nuts!!

We have one more new addition to make note of, Andy  gets one more girl. We've traded a paint gelding for a big black beauty.  Molly, (yes another Molly that's why the name change for Blondie) is a Morgan Fresian cross  and is quite a looker.  She's built an aweful lot like our Blondie, and has a mane and tail that won't quit.  She'll be another one for Andy in 2003 and another sport horse in the making!

We came home from a trail ride on May 18th to a surprise in our pasture.  Blondie our Belgian mare gave us a fabulous bay filly with four white socks and very nice blaze.  She will make a very sturdy mount for somebody.  A great prospect for the rigors of jumping and eventing.  We've decided to name her Muffy.   Such a petite feminine name for what promises to be a big hearty girl!  A very promising sport horse in the making.
